American actor Charlie Sheen is well recognised for his roles in television and films. The 1980s and 1990s were a kick-boost for his career. He is still working in the entertainment industry today. He expressed his political support for Donald Trump.
Jon Cryer, a co-star on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen, once said, "Sheen and Trump both say stupid things, but there is an important difference between them." However, he recently made a controversial statement and believes that "Sheen would make a better president than Donald Trump."
Cryer’s Statement
Jon Cryer explained his point of view about this post and said that when he made that comment at that time, Charlie said whatever stupid he wanted to say, he just said.
Likewise, Trump also says stupid things comfortably because people consider him their well-wisher. They didn't say anything to him; they loved him. People loved him more when he did dreadful things. So nine years ago, due to Trump's harmlessness, he made that comparison, but now he rethinks it.
In his later podcast, Never Not Funny, Cryer said that he loved to do work with his brother, Charlie Sheen, but when he was sober, he was addicted to drugs, which is seriously dangerous. He earned a lot of money, but now he has ruined it.
Trump is also addicted to fame. However, in Cryer's view, despite all the suffering in his life, Sheen would still be a better president than Donald.
As per Cryer's recent interview, the interviewer asked about their compression, but he refused to say anything and said that he has moved on and is not here to relive the past.
